Class C Rv Cover - Factory, Suppliers, Manufacturers

We got this basket because with 4 kids, including 16 month old twins in monstrous car seats, we had very little cargo space left in our minivan. It was not particularly difficult to put together, but did take more than two hands. The directions while not particularly wordy, are sufficient to get the job done. It does take at least two people to get the fully assembled rack up on top of the car without tearing everything up. We have a minivan, so we did use the extension pieces. Attaching the basket to the cross bars wasn't difficult, but did require some measuring and planning. NOTE that you WILL need crossbars of some sort for your vehicle - this item is NOT supposed to sit directly on the roof of your car! I would suggest getting a bungee cargo net, or a rooftop bag to go in the basket. Overall, the basket has worked well for us and enabled us to do take enough luggage to go on a longer trip than we would have been able to otherwise. We are pleased with this purchase.

Assembly instructions not the best but take your time, easy enough to figure out. Only extra I did was to coat the bottom brackets with some rubber shelf padding. I don't like these hit the roof of the car and potentially scratching it. The manufacturer should consider having them pre coated. All parts were in the box and they even threw in a few extra washers. Kayak(s) fit well. Straps hold very well. I just got done putting them together so, I loaded it up and took a drive. Purposely swerved back and forth on the road to try and shake the kayak loose. They didn't budge. I researched many racks and didn't find too many differences between these and others twice their price. These are going to be just fine for my local kayak trips.

These are solidly-built, totally serviceable racks for the casual kayaker who might get out 5-10 times a year. They arrive completely unassembled, so there's some assembly time required, but if you're handy, if shouldn't be a problem. They're easy to put on and take off at the start and end of the season, and I didn't notice any scratching, so the finish seems to be fairly sturdy as well. If you're looking for inexpensive kayak racks that'll get the job done, you can't go wrong with these. I've used mine extensively, and recommend them.

Mine were assembled with the top plate outside the rubber. The picture shows it this way by I will scratch your crossbars all up. Metal on metal. I re-assembled mine with the plate inside the rubber wrap so it won’t damage the roof rack. My picture shows the difference. Left is how they came right is the way I set mine up. I mean really, why coat the bottom plate so it won’t damage the roof rack and leave the top plate uncoated?
